The Following are the galleries not being attacked by Ritchie Sinclair a.k.a. Stardreamer's www.morrisseau.com:
-
- Kinsman Robinson Galleries,
- Coghlan Art Studio & Gallery,
- Steffich Fine Art Gallery.
-
Is it possible that the galleries listed in posting "Blog Master's Public Address V" with combined exposure and experience to Norval Morrisseau's art that amounts to more than 500 years are WRONG and that the above listed galleries with combined exposure and experience that amounts to only about 50 years are RIGHT when it comes to honourably presenting and selling authenitic pieces of art done by Norval Morrisseau?
-
How is it possible that in the last 30 years NONE of the galleries listed in the posting "Blog Master's Public Address V" have been sued for selling non-authentic Norval Morrisseau's paintings and that NONE of the Norval Morrisseau paintings exhibited in their galleries have ever been proven to be non-authentic?
-
The reason behind these controversies which are shaking Norval Morrisseau's Art World is due to the fact that individuals and galleries that were closely associated with the artist have been spreading false statements that paintings of a certain style were not done by Norval Morrisseau's hand. Particularily those paintings from the 1970's presented on this blog and that have been offered for sale for more than three decades in galleries all across Canada. I could understand that they are trying "to harness" the secondary market by discrediting a large body of work by Norval Morrisseau shows great disrespect to the artist and their actions cannot be tolerated. In my opinion they are harming the Norval Morrisseau art market and consequently his legacy.-
-
I am dissapointed that Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society is not honouring their mission statement which states:-
-
"The Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society was established at the request of Norval Morrisseau to research, document and preserve his artistic achievement and protect the integrity of his art. It seeks to achieve this mission by establishing and maintaining a registry of his works, publishing and updating a catalogue raisonne of his artistic output and providing the necessary expertise to authenticate his art."-
-
Why are they silent? Is their silence approval for what has been presented on www.morrisseau.com? If they truly care in "protecting the integrity of Norval Morrisseau's art" they would need to speak up. Their silence is hurting the legacy of the man they are supposed to protect and the longer they wait to publish a public statement regarding this matter presented herein, the longer the legacy of Norval Morrisseau will suffer.-

First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win . by Mahatma Gandhi.

The galleries listed above have years of actual time spent with Norval Morrisseau, who himself went to the media with hope to put an end to those who would pretend that these inferior counterfeits are Norval Morrisseau artworks. The 21 galleries listed by Ugo in his previous post have spent a few minutes with Norval, some in the hope that he would sign their books and authenticate their fakes.

Here is a small list of other galleries that join the 3 already mentioned.....who have exibited Norval's art.....just to name a few... The McMichael Canadian Art Collection, Ontario Art Gallery, Bau-xi gallery, The National Gallery of Canada, Hart house gallery, Waterloo art gallery, Canada house, Thunderbird gallery, National museum of the American Indian, Canadian museum of civilization, Jenkins Showler gallery,Royal Ontario Museum, Hill's gallery,Winnipeg art gallery, Thunder Bay art gallery, and numerous national and international shows with outstanding representation and have never exibited the style of art that is questionable TO MY KNOWLEDGE,in relation to the "fake" style that Norval himself showed me......and believe me.......Norval knew exactly what he was talking about.......his mind was razor sharp until the end.......he wasn't Grand Shaman of the Ojibway for nothing......it's so pityful that you people try to prove yourselves exceptions to the Golden Norval Morrisseau rule.......lol, I find your measely attempts to try and legitimize your false claims......pathetic to say the least........trying to ping pong your dark reflections.....whatever......Thunderbird school spiritual mechanics 101........MAJ 2008!
